-Cook noodles-

Do you know how to cook a bowl of delicous instant noodles? First of all, you need to have five prawns, a packet of instant noodles, a medium-sized onion, a pip garlic, a red chilli, a tablespoon of oil and a glass of water.Slice the onion and chilli and pound the garlic. Then, clean the prawns. Next, heat the oil in a wok. When the oil is hot, put in the onion, garlic, chilli and prawns. Fry these ingredients for about a minute, tossing them all the time, otherwise they will be burnt. Then, pour in the water. When the water is about to boil, put in the instant noodles, together with its seasoning. When the noodles are soft, pour them into a bowl. Tadaa... the noodles are ready to be eaten

2 PRINCESS

Long time ago, in a kingdom called Kayangan (heaven), lived two beautiful princess, Puteri (princess) Santubong and Puteri Sejinjang. Puteri Santubong was famous for her weaving skills, for she made the most beautiful cloth in the Kayangan. Puteri Sejinjang was known for her pounding rice. All the rice she pound became the most tastiest rice. Puteri Santubong liked to weave cloth at night when the air was much cooler, while Puteri Sejinjang liked to pound rice in the day, when the air was windy and bright.

One day, two villages, Pasir Kuning (Yellow Sand) and Pasir Putih (White Sand) were having a fight. The fight became worsen each day. When the King of Kayangan saw that the fight couldn’t cease itself, he send Puteri Santubong and Puteri Sejinjang to the two villages. Puteri Santubong was send to Pasir Kuning, while Puteri Sejinjang was send to Pasir Putih. The King of Heaven asked them to bring peace to the villages. Because of their undeniable talents, both villages were so busy making money from cloths and rice, they have no time to fight. So, Pasir Kuning and Pasir Putih came to piece at the end and both became prosperous. Meanwhile, both princess became best friends with each other.

But the friendship didn’t last long. Because of their beauties many suitors from near and far tried to get their hands on both of the princess. But none caught the princesses’ hearts, till they met Putera Mahkota (Crown Prince) Serapi. He was so handsome, that both the princess felt in love with the prince at the same time. Both tried to catch the prince’s eyes with their beauty and talents, but in the end, he was in love with both of them (what a jerk!). He asked for their permssion to make them both as his wives. Santubong and Sejinjang couldn’t accept the offer. They believe that only one of them was suitable to be his wife. They started to quarrel till one of them gave up. But none ready to surrender.

After they exhausted enough bad words to use, they became violence and started to hit each other. Sejinjang took a pounder (alu lesung) next to her and hit Santubong’s cheek till it crack. Even though she was hurt, Santubong hit back using her belidak, a tool for her to weave cloths. The belidak hit Sejinjang’s head. Because of the heavy and sharp tool, Sejinjang head’s broke into million pieces and scattered in the sea to become Pulau Kerak (Monkey Island), Pulau Satang, Pulau Talang-Talang, Pulau Lakir, etc..... Santubong then died because of her blood lost.

The King of Heaven, who was angry with both of them for fighting over an immortal, cursed them. Santubong was turned into Gunung (Mountain) Santubong, while Sejinjang’s body turned into Gunung Sejinjang. The crack on Santubong cheek can still be seen until today. Sejinjang however become merely a hill after her upper portion including her head was scattered by the belidak.

WAS THE 'SANYASI' THE PRINCE OF BHOWAL?

In India there is a group of wandering holy men who go about the country praying and helping the poor people. These men are called 'sanyasi'.
One day four 'sanyasi' found a young man who was not with fever outside their cave. Quickly the holy men carried him into their cave and looked after him until he recovered several days later.
"Who are you?" they asked the young man.
  "I...I don't remember!" he replied.
From that day onwards the young man joined the holy men and became a 'sanyasi' too. For elevent years, he wandered about with them, praying, and helping the poor. Then one day his memory suddenly returned.
'I'm the Prince of Bhowal!" he cried. "My wife and I came to Darmeeling for a holiday. Then I fell ill ..... I don't remember what happened after that."
Soon afterwards the 'sanyasi' went to Bhowal in East Pakistan where he declared to the people that he was their prince. All the people believed him except the prince's wife and relatives who thought that he was an impostor.
Ten years passed before the 'sanyasi's' problem was brought to court. Many people came forward to give evidence which supported his claim.
It was found that just around the time when the four  'sanyasi' rescued the sick young man, the Prince of Bhowal had fallen seriously ill and soon afterwards had become unconscious. Thinking that he was dead, his relatives decided to bury him. However, on the day of his burial there was a thunderstorm and the people who were following the funeral procession took shelter in some huts near by. When the rain stopped, they returned and found that the 'dead body' was gone. The people now believed that the rain had revived the prince and he had got up and wandered to the holy men's cave.
On the 'sanyasi' body there were several battle wounds that resembled the prince's too.So finally the court upheld his claim that he was the Prince of Bhowal. However, till today some people are still doubtful about the 'sanyasi's' identity.

ILLEGAL RACE

Illegal street racing is a global problem that affects us all regardless of participation. Mat Rempit refers to the behavior or the behavior of young people engaged in Illegal motorcyclist racing. The issue of the gang members often featured in national media. The case involving the gang members often have a headache decorating community newspapers including the police.Based on statistics, Kuantan : RM20,000 in cash awaits the Mat Rempit who ride the slowest. The state government is organising a special “race” for more than 1,600 youths it had identified as Mat Rempit. Many control and sympton of Mat Rempit to take control.
Firstly, peer influence of the cause of Mat Rempit. Everyday, most of the time student spend with his friend. They must good to search friend. That is because, bad friend  influence friend  to do something wrong. For example, illegal race at his area. If they not do it, they would be ridiculed and ostracized by her friends. Bad friend also will be use his friend to satisfied of feeling of hearth.Illegal race can make sound and air pollution to area community.
Secondly, cause of the illegal race is stress. When somebody stress they can do everything to release tension. For example, illegal race to forget stress and desire to win luxury rewards. Stress can happen to someone in new situation at office. Infect not want to give to others will cause a person to be stress. Illegal race can make the highway can damages. It is because there is no guidance on how to drive illegal rightly. Mat rempit also no proper oversight by the police.
Thirdly, family problem also cause Mat rempit always increase. For example, when her parents are always arguing cause children to feel they are not loved more by their parents and feel lone. They will begin to get involved in social problems such as illegal racing activities without the knowledge of her parents as a mark of protest against his parents and for a moment forget his problem without realizing that illegal race bring many disadvantages from the pro. Infect illegal race is accident in highway and lastly traffic jam will occured.

As a conclusion, the problem of the gang members is constrained to be integrated through the cooperation of the parents, the community and government. As the saying goes, round water for sewer, round man for consensus. Attitudes come together and mobilize the nature of certain parties is very important to minimize these symptoms. This is due to the gang members range from young teenagers who will take over leadership of a country. They form a very valuable human capital should be approached, guided, nurtured by values, and moral character. They must be imbued with the characteristics of high integrity, responsibility, love of country and nation. Possible with endless efforts of all parties, the roar of a motorcycle engine and crazy stunts the gang members will not be heard again someday.

                                                          -VERB-

A verb is a word that tells what a person or thing does:

For example:
    The sun shines
    The baby cries
    That man was hanged
    That student was praised
    Diamonds are beautiful
    I feel nervous
    That man is alive

There are two kind of verbs:

1.Lexible Verbs - Action words with meaning:
Laugh, talk, sing, dance, give, win, shake, jump, walk, listened, saw, wrote, watched, went, etc.

2.Function Verbs – Action words without any meaning of their own. These are used to help lexible verbs state when a certain action has happened:
am, is, was, be, being, have, do

For example:
   - Suhaila is a girl.
   - She is studying at the University of California.
   - (‘is’ helps ‘studying’ to show us that Suhaila is still studying at the university now)

The most important parts of a verb in English are
         The Present Tense
                  The Past Tense
               The Past Participle

We form other verbs from these.

The following is a reference list for these three categories of verbs:
